The InMotion Climber is hands down the best hill-climbing scooter I’ve used

The InMotion Climber is hands down the best hill-climbing scooter I’ve used. I live in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood, where hills can hit 30–60% grade and this scooter handles them effortlessly. I didn’t realize how much I was struggling until I switched. Total game changer.

It's my first electric scooter, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's everything I was hoping it would be. Assembly was super easy. The app is intuitive, and everything was easy to understand and set up. More than enough speed and power for a beginner like me. I'm trying hard to think of something I don't like about it, and I just can't think of anything. I do kind of want to try out different types of throttles, but that's just my own curiosity, nothing to do with this scooter. Very happy with this purchase.

First scooter I bought. OTR trucker

Written 6/26/25 and I started driving OTR(over the road) again 4/9. I purchased an electric bike online in the past but couldn't get it into the truck even when it was folded. Bought a smaller electric bike and still don't have room inside; outside storage on a bike rack to be mounted on the catwalk between the tractor and trailer didn't look good when I was making sharp turns and the lines getting caught=not there. This was my first scooter. 7/6/25

It fits in the truck easily, passenger door back wheel is only slightly blocking the sleeper access. It's got 0 suspension and sidewalks have sections and bumps. As my first scooter it's torqueé enough to get my 245 lbs up a decent grade and used it frequently, any scooter is going to be fun and the added freedom is greatly appreciated.

The find my scooter function of the app does not work. It has a battery monitor function which should be mandatory(necessary) and mine came new with a cell that is .2v less than the rest. The scooter came with a damaged box but just a tiny insignificant scratch. The ground clearance allows me to store it in the truck easier but isn't great when riding with 0 suspension..

At $600 and how it folds and is compact, it works very well. I want one that I can hop into traffic with and go further. Don't know if the next one will fit but be warned if you're an OTR looking to actually be mobile once parked you will be looking to upgrade if you want to commute through a city to see it. Small cities work fine with this, I believe I could go 15-20 miles total with mine with the weaker cell.

Yeah, my Climber will get it done!

Hilly terrain. About 260 lbs total load. 6.4 mile roundtrip. Full throttle, speed never fell below 18mph. Love it!
