The top speed is up to 24 mph, providing brisk urban pace while remaining manageable for new riders who are transitioning to a commuter e-scooter.

What is the load-bearing capacity of INMOTION Climber?

The maximum load-bearing capacity is about 308.6 lbs (130 kg).

Is the INMOTION Climber lightweight and portable?

Yes. Weighing about 47 lbs, the Climber is among the lighter folding e-scooters with comparable performance. The quick-fold mechanism makes it easy to bring on public transit, store in an office, or load into a car trunk.

What type of battery cells are used in the INMOTION Climber?

To achieve the maximum distance for weight, the Climber uses Lithium-ion 15 Ah / 36V / 533WH (Samsung) batteries, which are monitored by the motherboard at all times; this new battery system prevents aging by analyzing the status of each cell to extend the life of the battery.

Is the INMOTION Climber water-resistant? Can I use it in the rain?

Yes. With an IP56 water-resistance rating, the scooter is protected against dust and splashes/spray, so you can ride through light rain. Avoid riding through deep puddles or submerging any part of the scooter.

The INMOTION app allows you to access features like tracking your ride, locking the scooter for added security, checking your range, and viewing your remaining battery life.

Who is the INMOTION Climber designed for?

The INMOTION Climber electric scooter is built for urban commuters and riders who face hilly city terrain. If you want a lightweight, portable commuter e-scooter with confident hill-climbing and daily reliability, Climber is a strong fit.

How far can the INMOTION Climber go on a single charge?

Climber delivers up to 35 miles of range per charge (real-world range varies by rider weight, terrain, temperature, and speed). That's plenty for most daily commutes and weekend rides without frequent recharging.

What safety features does the INMOTION Climber offer?

Key safety features include triple braking — front and rear electronic regenerative braking (E-ABS) plus a mechanical rear disc brake — for strong, redundant stopping power. Bright LED headlight/taillight improve night visibility, while pneumatic tires and a rigid frame enhance stability on typical city roads.

What makes the INMOTION Climber great for hills?

A dual-motor setup (combined peak output up to 1,200W) supplies strong torque, allowing the scooter to tackle grades up to 36%. If your route includes long or steep climbs, Climber’s hill-climbing performance stands out in its class.

Can the INMOTION Climber handle rough or uneven terrain?

Climber's 10-inch pneumatic tires smooth out cracks, patches, and light gravel, delivering a comfortable ride on mixed urban terrain. While it isn't built for heavy off-road use, it performs confidently on typical city streets and paths.

How does the INMOTION Climber compare to other scooters in its price range?

Compared with similarly priced models, Climber stands out for dual-motor hill power (rare among lightweight scooters), true portability at ~47 lbs, and durable build quality aimed at long-term commuter reliability.

Ideal All-rounder and exceptional hill climber

I’ve had 4000km of use from my Climber so far and it continues to work great for me. I live in a hilly area and wet climate. I poured over scooter options for months before deciding that the Climber was the best value and performance. 3 years later I still haven’t felt like I’ve needed to upgrade. I had one issue and customer service was better than expected and very helpful. I moved to an area with extremely steep hills and the brakes seemed inadequate. Customer service ran me through several easy diagnostic tests and in the end, simply turning up the electric brake in the app was the easy solution.

The Climber is simple, reliable, quick, portable and an incredible hill machine. I didn’t need suspension, and 10” tires have enough cushion for me. This is the best balance of scooter attributes I’m my opinion.

No service

I needed the cord that connects the display to the the green connector and can’t seem to get it or the entire display with the cord. My scooter is currently useless.

Hello, goodness and prosperity to the team. I truly appreciate the quick response, from my original email. I appreciate how many emails were sent by the team. Advising me of many different ways of resolving the issue with the scooter.

In the end the issue with the scooter wasn't really the scooter. It was my phone, it was a bit outdated. My son's tablet though was more modern. Afterwards I downloaded the app on his tablet and activated the scooter; everything is fine.

I really appreciate your assistance because, the situation was as it was I didn't know what was going on. I figured my phone was good for the app since it downloaded it. But since it wasn't able to open past the display screen. I was glad that your team was able to help. Seems like they really know their stuff

100 miles

Came with broken controller which they replaced because it was under warranty but it took two weeks to get here. Also not a ten minute tire change I’m about an hour into it. Just lucky I could get it home. Rated for a great climb up a decent grade but it chews through battery like no one’s business. A two mile mountain near my house drains it 50%. May be rated for the climb but going down is scary cause the brakes are not rated for what it can climb. Overall decent scooter for what I need it for just has a few quirks. Bought it at 700ish but idk if I would pay 1000 dollars for it.

Hello Fargo,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback with us.

We’re sorry to hear that you experienced a controller issue early on and that the replacement process and tire repair were more frustrating and time-consuming than expected. We also appreciate you sharing your feedback regarding battery performance, hill climbing, and braking feel in real-world riding conditions.

Your comments are important to us, and we will continue working to improve both our product experience and after-sales support. Thank you again for your honest feedback and for giving our scooter a try.

Best regards,
INMOTION Team

All in all it was a simple process to make a warranty claim and get the parts shipped out. I do wish shipping was faster than 10 to 12 days as my scooter is how I get around. Everyone i talked to was helpful and polite.
