What is RideConnect? Is it free to use?
INMOTION’s RideConnect is a breakthrough technology that brings smart security to your ride.
It lets you lock your unicycle remotely, track it in real time, and with the new movement-triggered alert on the V12S, it provides genuine anti-theft protection.
The cloud module comes with a free 1-year trial after activation.
How do I activate RideConnect?
When you activate the V12S, RideConnect will be activated automatically.
How does the music sharing feature work?
If you and a friend both have a V12S or V9, you can play music from one phone on both wheels!
Just connect your phone to one wheel via Bluetooth and start playing music.
Then, double-tap the power button on both wheels to sync the audio—and enjoy the ride together with shared sound.
What are the charger specifications? How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
It comes with a 2.8A charger and takes up to 7 hours to fully charge.
Are there different tire options available?
The V12S comes equipped with a 16" tubeless tire, designed for puncture resistance, superior shock absorption, and long-lasting durability.
Even if pierced by debris, the tire retains enough pressure to support safe, low-speed riding—helping you avoid sudden blowouts.
Do I need to connect to the app on my phone to set it up the first time?
Yes, the V12S does require activation through the INMOTION app before your first ride.
This is a one-time setup, and you’ll only need the app to activate the wheel and configure basic settings. After that, you can ride without needing to open the app every time.

This is a follow up review to my previous one star review. For context, I bought this wheel back in the second week of May. When I received the wheel, it worked great - for about 5 days. Then something called the left motor hall sensor went out after normal use. The wheel told me to get off and then refused to work. $2000 completely wasted. I went back and forth with a subpar customer service for about two weeks till they finally sent me a packing slip to send it to one of their repair facilities. I was hoping for a refund and asked for one but they denied it and said because I had ridden the wheel, they couldn't do a refund. Another week and a half later the wheel came back to me fixed, but with a broken kickstand and missing some screws. When I informed them of this they sent the parts, but the kickstand is very difficult to replace.
The wheel works fine for about three weeks or so then the same motor problem happens again - making the wheel useless again. Now it has been almost a month again of trying to get customer service to refund the wheel because their fix failed and because I have wasted so much time with this company. As of now they still refuse to take ownership of their bad product and give me the refund so I can be free from the stress and hassle. I do not want them to fix it again because I do not trust that their fix will stay and I do not want to worry every time I commute somewhere that the wheel won't be able to take me home. I also don't want to waste more months of my life with this company. Please save your money and try different companies for your EUC's.
I sincerely hope this problem is just happening to me, but I do not want it to happen to you too so please don't buy from Inmotion and save your time and money.

I need to swap this thing its not for me
Loving the wheel. For my first EUC its been a fairly easy learning cure, not to heavy and feels great when riding.
I've been riding EUCs since 2018. I'm over 40 now and my knees and feet really don't appreciate bumps the way they used to. The suspension on the V12S is far ahead of what's on the V11 and turns broken pavement and bumps into background noise. The power pads and pegged pedals keep me secure so even larger bumps or jumps never shake my confidence.
Bought the V12S in March and was worried it was a lot to spend on a minor upgrade. It's absolutely worth it, though. No regrets. An amazing wheel that has increased the range I can comfortably ride without fatigue while giving up none of the excitement and joy of riding an EUC. I've heard others compare this wheel to a Cadillac, and it's an apt comparison. Just floats over the world with style, poise, and comfort.
No issues yet. Everything has worked pretty flawlessly. Haven't even adjusted the suspension yet since it felt so good out of the box.
I do get some speed wobbles at times, but adjusting my stance and gripping the wheel more firmly mostly eliminates them.
V8 -> MSX+16X -> V11 -> V12S ... I don't know if EUCs are going to get much better than this, but this one will definitely hold me over until they do.
