Fast shipping and great product
This is the 2nd inmotion euc that I've purchased. I bought this one because I figured it would be easier to learn to ride than my 11y andalsi that way my girl friend and I will be able to learn and ride together. Its always better with a friend they say. It is very light weight and seems to be pretty responsive and it will turn quick.
This is my first wheel. The build quality seems excellent; durable, stands up to tip overs quite well, and it feels solid. It connects to the app easily, and I like the no frills experience- you just get on and ride. I think the relatively narrow tire makes it harder to operate, but it'll probably make other wheels easier to handle in the future.
The V8S is light and nimble. It's easy to carry, and responsive. I miss the side lighting from the V8F, and I'd hoped for more range-- it seems to be similar to theV8F, about 20 miles (I'm 175 lbs, this is on slight hills (50 ft climbs, average speed ~10-12 mph). Good enough for an hour or two. Haven't yet tested hill climbing ability, it's supposedly a tad better than the V8F, though it doesn't seem to have more torque from a standing start (e.g. at a traffic light). I have a V11Y, which has more range, and shocks, but it's significantly heavier and less nimble. Each has it's place.
I purchase a v8s around August. I am 47 years old 6'1 and 200 lbs. it has been a long time since I felt like a kid. But this thing sure makes you feel young again. It makes you Smile. The wheel is very smooth on pavement and goes surprising well off road for a small wheel. I have 144 miles on mine got up to 21mph. After 16 mile ride I still had 68% battery life The action of riding it reminds me of when I use to ski. That to me is the best way to describe what it feels like to someone who may be interested. I highly recommend trying one this model would be great for the city.
