What are the main uses of INMOTION Climber?

INMOTION Climber is designed for climbing and Hill Climbing, for cyclists who like a challenge.

What is the maximum speed of the INMOTION Climber?

The top speed is up to 24 mph, providing brisk urban pace while remaining manageable for new riders who are transitioning to a commuter e-scooter.

What is the load-bearing capacity of INMOTION Climber?

The maximum load-bearing capacity is about 308.6 lbs (130 kg).

Is the INMOTION Climber lightweight and portable?

Yes. Weighing about 47 lbs, the Climber is among the lighter folding e-scooters with comparable performance. The quick-fold mechanism makes it easy to bring on public transit, store in an office, or load into a car trunk.

What type of battery cells are used in the INMOTION Climber?

To achieve the maximum distance for weight, the Climber uses Lithium-ion 15 Ah / 36V / 533WH (Samsung) batteries, which are monitored by the motherboard at all times; this new battery system prevents aging by analyzing the status of each cell to extend the life of the battery.

How fast does the INMOTION Climber Charge?

The stock charger has an output voltage of 42V and an output current of 2A. It charges for approximately 9 hrs.

Is the INMOTION Climber water-resistant? Can I use it in the rain?

Yes. With an IP56 water-resistance rating, the scooter is protected against dust and splashes/spray, so you can ride through light rain. Avoid riding through deep puddles or submerging any part of the scooter.

Does the INMOTION Climber have an app?

The INMOTION app allows you to access features like tracking your ride, locking the scooter for added security, checking your range, and viewing your remaining battery life.

Who is the INMOTION Climber designed for?

The INMOTION Climber electric scooter is built for urban commuters and riders who face hilly city terrain. If you want a lightweight, portable commuter e-scooter with confident hill-climbing and daily reliability, Climber is a strong fit.

How far can the INMOTION Climber go on a single charge?

Climber delivers up to 35 miles of range per charge (real-world range varies by rider weight, terrain, temperature, and speed). That's plenty for most daily commutes and weekend rides without frequent recharging.

What safety features does the INMOTION Climber offer?

Key safety features include triple braking — front and rear electronic regenerative braking (E-ABS) plus a mechanical rear disc brake — for strong, redundant stopping power. Bright LED headlight/taillight improve night visibility, while pneumatic tires and a rigid frame enhance stability on typical city roads.

What makes the INMOTION Climber great for hills?

A dual-motor setup (combined peak output up to 1,200W) supplies strong torque, allowing the scooter to tackle grades up to 36%. If your route includes long or steep climbs, Climber’s hill-climbing performance stands out in its class.

Can the INMOTION Climber handle rough or uneven terrain?

Climber's 10-inch pneumatic tires smooth out cracks, patches, and light gravel, delivering a comfortable ride on mixed urban terrain. While it isn't built for heavy off-road use, it performs confidently on typical city streets and paths.

How does the INMOTION Climber compare to other scooters in its price range?

Compared with similarly priced models, Climber stands out for dual-motor hill power (rare among lightweight scooters), true portability at ~47 lbs, and durable build quality aimed at long-term commuter reliability.

All in all it was a simple process to make a warranty claim and get the parts shipped out. I do wish shipping was faster than 10 to 12 days as my scooter is how I get around. Everyone i talked to was helpful and polite.

BATTERY DIES SO FAST after only 6 months

I really love this scooter but after only 6 months the battery is depleting so fast. I do all the things to take care of it and yet, I’ve been left walking it home.
My longest commute is 11 miles one way. On a full battery that is supposedly 32 miles, there’s no reason mathematically speaking that it doesn’t make it round trip.
Customer service told me I’d be attended to within 1-3 minutes and an hour later I’m still waiting.
The scooter overall is great when it has battery but with it depleting so fast, I wouldn’t recommend nor buy again. I hope the company makes it right.

Amazing power for hills, and a great price! Outperforms much more expensive options.

I really want to give this scooter 5 stars because it rides great and seems like an excellent product. Unfortunately, it arrived with a broken front fender that rubs against the front tire right out of the box.

This was a graduation gift for my son, so it was disappointing to spend several hundred dollars on something that arrived damaged. I’m hoping INMOTION’s customer service will reach out and make this right. If they resolve the issue quickly, I’d be happy to update this review to 5 stars.

Clack noise in the back wheel

I'm happy to update this review when I receive a response from technical support, but this is our second climber and it's making a weird clack noise in the back wheel that I noticed in my first attempt to use it. My husband got one last year and it came in perfect condition. Mine unfortunately seems to have a problem and I'm not going to use it until I receive a response.
